In honor of financial literacy month, Marcie Nach, CFP® volunteered her time educating individuals how to plan and manage their finances wisely.
Marcie participated in discussions about cash flow, saving for retirement, and Social Security at the Harold Washington Library in Chicago. “I was able to highlight key issues that people should consider as they make important financial decisions,” Nach reported. “It felt really meaningful.”
Money Smart Week is a coordinated effort among a diverse group of 40+ Chicago-area organizations working together to promote personal financial literacy. Free events and presentations take place over a six-day period in April to help consumers learn to better manage their personal finances.
